A Company Built Around Conversations That Matter
Jati Wealth was founded on a simple observation: most financial education is not designed for the complexity of life after 40. We are here to change that.
Back to HomeGrounded in Malaysian Experience
Jati Wealth was established in Kuala Lumpur with a specific purpose: to support Malaysians navigating the financial decisions that come after the age of 40. Our founders spent years working within the broader financial sector before recognising that the educational side of money management was consistently underserved for mid-career and pre-retirement adults.
The name "Jati" carries meaning in Bahasa Malaysia — it refers to something genuine, deeply rooted, and lasting. This reflects our approach: we are not interested in surface-level advice or one-size-fits-all frameworks. We engage with your actual situation, your actual assets, and your actual concerns.
Our Bangsar office became a quiet space for careful conversations — about side income that grew unexpectedly, mortgages carried for twenty years without review, EPF balances that felt both large and uncertain. These are not abstract problems. They are the real financial landscape of Malaysia at midlife and beyond.

Standards We Hold to in Every Engagement
These are not aspirational statements. They are the operating principles we apply in every session, every document, and every client relationship.
Independence from Product Sales
Jati Wealth holds no distribution agreements with any financial institution. We are compensated solely by client programme fees — no commissions, no referral arrangements.
Client Information Confidentiality
All financial details shared in sessions are treated as strictly confidential. Client records are never shared with external parties. Data handling follows Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Current, Local Data
All sessions use up-to-date Malaysian financial data — current bank base rates, EPF contribution schedules, LHDN tax tables, and BNM guidelines — refreshed regularly.
Plain Language Communication
We do not hide behind jargon. Every concept is explained in straightforward language that you can apply directly to your own situation.
Written Session Summaries
After each session, clients receive a written summary of what was discussed and any action points agreed. This gives you a clear reference point regardless of what has been retained verbally.
Flexible Scheduling
Sessions are arranged around your availability. In-person in Bangsar or online via video call — and paced to suit your capacity, not a fixed timetable.
Financial Education Rooted in Malaysian Reality
The financial circumstances facing Malaysians aged 40 and above are materially different from those of younger adults entering the workforce. By the fourth decade of life, most people carry layered financial responsibilities — an existing mortgage, EPF savings approaching the threshold for withdrawal decisions, possibly multiple streams of income, children approaching the age of higher education, and parents who may require support. This is not a simple financial picture, and it deserves more than simple financial advice.
Jati Wealth was created to sit within this reality. Our three current programmes address the specific junctions at which many Malaysians find themselves — managing side income with no formal business background, reviewing a mortgage that has been running for years without reassessment, and preparing thoughtfully for the post-employment chapter of life. Each programme is built around Malaysian-specific systems: the EPF withdrawal framework, Bank Negara Malaysia rate structures, LHDN tax obligations for individuals with supplementary income, and the actual cost of healthcare access across public and private channels.
We work from our Bangsar office in Kuala Lumpur, drawing on over a decade of combined practice in Malaysian personal finance. The community we serve includes salaried professionals, small business owners, self-employed individuals, civil servants approaching retirement, and returning Malaysians reassessing their financial footing at home. What they share is a need for education, not product sales — clarity, not pressure.
